I thought it would be fun to paper piece, I haven't done that in a while!  So, I pulled out this fun chocolate stamp from my Mugs and Kisses set.  I paper pieced using one of Gina's newest paper pack sets, Sunshiny Day.  I used my paper piercer to make the holes and then hand stitched.

Hi everyone!!  I'm trying so hard to get back into stamping regularly again but it sure isn't working very well!  I was sick and in bed for 2 days, yuck!!  I haven't been that miserable in a long time!  Enough about that!  I made this card on Sunday, it is for this weeks CPS sketch, so many possibilites, I love it!!!  I knew right away I wanted to use this great sentiment from Gina's new one free with 3 One in a Million set.  I cut three little strips from the Sunshiny Day pattern paper pack, I thought this pattern was perfect for the sentiment!!

I have another idea so I may be back yet this week with another card!

Make it Masculine

Hi everyone!!  My card for today is for Taylor's Make it Masculine challenge on Splitcoast for Sweet n Sassy's release!  I used my Serene Silhouettes set, I think this image makes perfect masculine cards!!  I tried something I haven't done before and colored the image with my Memento Markers and I love the look I got, much like watercolor!!

For my card I unpacked (we are moving soon and most of my stuff is packed!) my Twinkling H2O's, heehee!  I had to as soon as the idea came to me :)  I heat embossed with white embossing powder.  The great thing is the purple that I picked out matched perfectly with Vibrant Violet cardstock.  I was so happy!!  :)  The sides looked a little boring so I scored with my Scor-Buddy.  I love scoring, it adds so much!!

Perfect time for a spring hop isn't it!!  I don't know about your neck of the woods but we have been unseasonably warm and even had a bit of a rain storm 2 days ago!  It has been a crazy weather year!!

  For my card I decided to color this beautiful Iris from Theresa's Warm with Love set.  I've always loved these flowers but for some reason have never been able to grow them so this is as close as I can get!

Hi everyone!!  I thought I would share a card I made a couple weeks back that was for the SCS sketch challenge.  I ended up making this card monochromatic because I realized after I had most of it colored that I colored the leaves incorrectly!  But I do like how it turned out!!  I was intimidated by coloring this gorgeous flower from Melanie's Stately Flowers 3 set, I'm not sure why but sure glad I finally did, I had a lot of fun with it!!

Our final day of the hops.  I'm kind of sad, this has been such a fun release, loved playing with all the sets!!  Today we have Great Sayings, this months Free with 3.  I love all the different fonts Gina used in this set.  I had to pick this one, it reminds me of a typewriter and back in the day I used to type on a typewriter!!!

And last is this gorgeous butterfly from the Believe in Yourself set.  I just love it!!!  I had so many different ideas but decided on doing the thumping technique using my Memento markers.  I just love it in green!!
